Counselling & Psychotherapy
Life can sometimes lead to emotional difficulties or feelings of stress, which affect our day to day life, relationships or work. We may experience anxiety, low self-esteem, confusion, depression, addiction, suicidal thoughts, self-harm or relationship difficulties.
In the safe confidential space the therapeutic process is determined by you. You set goals to work towards and through the therapeutic relationship I facilitate your journey using creative resources and integrated theories to best meet your personal needs. This can sometimes feel challenging, but it can also be inspiring and creative, exploring internalised memories, previously hidden fears and concerns.​

I conduct face-to-face therapy sessions in Amsterdam, for expat adults and teenagers dealing with anxiety and low mood. Additionally, I provide online therapy for clients internationally, giving greater flexibility in appointments.

My approach
I bring 2500+ hours of experience working with clients facing challenges of low self-esteem, anxiety, trauma, self-harm, identity issues, anger and loss. My passion lies in hearing and seeing you and understanding your unique story. Through creative approaches and the secure therapeutic relationship, you can identify and process previously internalised experiences, and their associated body sensations, thoughts, and feelings. As you employ self-soothing strategies and be empowered to connect with your core self and values, and grow in self-understanding, of yourself and your relational patterns.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of approaches, including the therapeutic alliance, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis (TA), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic experience therapy, working with parts and creative approaches. I am a registered member of both the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the Nederlandse Federation Gezondheid (NFG), and I adhere to the highest professional standards.
